 Welcome to HockeyBarns.ca. We aim to be an ongoing record of all of the old hockey barns across Canada. Over the coming months, we are looking for photographs and stories related to the history and importance that these buildings played in Canadian history. We look forward to hearing from you and getting some stories posted. Small towns across Canada all seemed to have one and they were the central hub of entertainment. Hockey, figure skating and broomball all hosted in small villages in each province.  Community run and some of the best food (rink burgers, pirogies, swamp water, hot chocolate, etc all served out of little canteens).
